PlayStation Stars Live But Certain Users Are Facing A 2 Month Waitlist; System Performance Enhanced Through Latest PS5 Update and More
PlayStation Stars is a loyalty program started by PlayStation, where players can complete campaigns to receive rewards and digital collectables. They are also rewarded with points that can be exchanged for PSN wallet funds. Recently we learned that PlayStation Stars has a hidden, invite-only 5th tier which has been dubbed as ‘Diamond Tier’. Players that reach this level will be rewarded with a legendary grade collectible called Level 5 Diorama – Bots Don’t Breathe.
The PlayStation Stars loyalty program is now live in North and South America and has been scheduled to go live in Europe by October 13, 2022. Players have been put in a waitlist of 2 months after signing up for the program and this has confused many of them. According to the FAQ section of PlayStation Stars players have been put on the waitlist due to them being added on a rolling basis, this has been done to improve and optimise the experience. Players will receive an email when they are off the waitlist and can access the loyalty program.

Moreover, many players have been expressing their criticism for on of the benefits of being a tier 4 member of the PlayStation Stars programs. This benefit provides tier 4 members with chat priority routing that will allow them to reach customer care faster. Many players feel that better customer service should not be blocked behind a pay wall and should be free and equal to every player.
Additionally, the PlayStation Patch 22.02-06.00.01 was released recently and it helps with enhancing the system performance. Many also feel that this update will add more security protocols, given that the PS5 was jailbroken recently. Also in a recent interview with Famitsu, Herman Halst, General Manager stated that many developers have been using the Decima Engine which was used to develop titles such as Horizon Zero Dawn, Death Stranding and more.
