PlayStation: Super Bowl Ad Disappoints Viewers, Sony Shares the ‘Live From PS5’ Ad From Multiple Countries Including India

PlayStation fans were eagerly waiting for the company’s ad during the Super Bowl, hoping there would be some information about upcoming games. However, the only thing they were left with was disappointment, as the ad was part of PlayStation Canada’s “Live From PS5” ad series and didn’t contain any teases about its future.

The ad wasn’t aired on US TV, and can only be watched on PlayStation Canada’s social media accounts. PlayStation Canada teased the ad, which promised it would feature the God of War series.

Because of this, fans hoped that they would see a new announcement regarding the game, but the video was merely another entry in PlayStation’s Live from PS5 series.

The series is in the form of news broadcasts, and the newest ad showed Kratos and Atreus from the God of War series. The ad also makes references to Final Fantasy and Gran Turismo.

Fans were pretty disappointed, leaving many comments such as “This was it?” “That’s it, are you serious, Sony?” and “Keep your expectations low, and you’ll never be disappointed.”

Official PlayStation Twitter account shares Indian Live From PS5 ad

The PlayStation’s official Twitter account shared a compilation of the Live From PS5 series which features “news reports” from the US, Poland, India, and the UAE.

In the Indian ad, we can see Technical Guruji reporting about a large PS5 and the “God of War hammer” appearing in CyberHub, Gurgaon. You can check out the video below:
