Poco is all set to launch its C31 smartphone at 12pm today and the event will be livestreamed on the company’s YouTube channel. The company teased the smartphone last week when it shared an image mentioning ‘C U Soon’ on its social media handle. At first, many anticipated that the new smartphone will be called C4 but the company later revealed official information about the name. The upcoming smartphone will be available on Flipkart and is expected to go on sale during the Flipkart’s Big Billion Days 2021 sale. The device is expected to be an updated model of the C3 smartphone that was launched in India last year.
Although all the information about the Poco C31 smartphone will be released today, the company has already revealed the key specifications that the smartphone will have. The C31 will be powered by MediaTek Helio G35 processor and the official website confirms that the device will have 4GB RAM. The website also claims that the battery of the upcoming smartphone will work 25% longer than standard smartphones in that segment. When it comes to design, the C31 gets slim side bezels and a waterdrop-style notch. It is confirmed that the smartphone will have a blue colour option as officially teased by the company on the website. The landing page also claims that the model will have reinforced corners.
The upcoming smartphone also gets fingerprint scanner and face unlock features as seen on the C3 model. To recall, the C3 features a 6.53-inch display with 20:9 aspect ratio. At the camera front, it gets a triple rear camera setup with a 13MP primary lens and it also gets a 5MP selfie camera. Under the hood, the phone gets an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. It also gets a similar waterdrop-style notch as seen on the upcoming C31 model.
