POCO F5 5G launch seems imminent as memory variants, key details now revealed via FCC

As seen in the FCC certification images above (via), the POCO F5 5G (with the model number POCO 23049PCD8G) has recently been certified, thereby hinting that the launch of the device (or the series) might be nearing. The FCC listing reveals that the POCO F5 5G will arrive in three memory variants. The base variant will feature 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, the mid-tier variant will have 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, and the top-tier variant will feature 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The FCC listing also confirms that the POCO F5 5G will run on Android 13-based MIUI 14 skin out of the box. The device will support NFC, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual SIM, 7 5G bands (n1/n5/n7/n38/n41/n77/n78), and will have an IR Blaster as well.

The POCO F5 5G is tipped to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo, which is said to launch soon in China. The device will reportedly feature a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the POCO F5 5G is rumoured to drive power from an unannounced and upcoming Snapdragon 7-series processor, which will be coupled with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. In terms of cameras, the POCO F5 5G is tipped to offer a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup and a 16MP selfie snapper.
