Poco is bringing back its most-popular series, F-series, in India with this phone – Times of India

Former Xiaomi sub-brand Poco is set to expand its F-series in India with the launch of Poco F3 GT handset.
This was confirmed by the company via a tweet. The tweet didn’t reveal anything other than the fact that the Poco F3 GT will launch in Q3 in India.

The teaser video also shows the body of the device. On the basis of that, it is being said that the device houses a pair of gaming triggers on the right side and it is being speculated that it will be a gaming-focussed device.
With the Poco F3 GT, the company will be reviving its original F-series in India. To recall, the first device launched under the Poco branding was the Poco F1 in 2018. However, since then, the company hasn’t launched any handset in the F-series. As of now, the Poco smartphone portfolio includes handsets in X-series, M-series and C-series.
Poco F3 GT expected launch date
Earlier this week, online reports had claimed that the tipped launch date of the Poco F3 GT is going to be sometime in August, however, it could be this month too.
Poco F3 GT expected specifications
Back in May, the company’s senior executive Anuj Sharma had teased the launch of the Poco F3 GT. Sharma had also revealed that the handset will come powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC.
Online reports have speculated that the Poco F3 GT is the re-branded version of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition.
If that happens to be true, then the Poco F3 GT may come with a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely to be backed by a 5065mAh battery with 67W fast charging support and house a triple rear camera setup on the back that includes a 6MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens.
