POCO X5 series India launch soon? POCO India head has an answer

In response to Brar’s tweet, Tandon hints that the company plans to launch its POCO X5 line of smartphones soon. This comes a few days after the POCO X5 5G visited the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification and Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website with the 22101320I model number. Less than two weeks later, the device also appeared on China’s 3C and IMDA certification websites, this time with a 22101320C model number.

What do we know about the POCO X5 series?

These aforementioned certifications reveal that we can expect a 4,900mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging on the forthcoming POCO X5 5G. It will run on Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box. The complete specifications sheet of the smartphone is still a mystery.

Although the company’s head stopped short of telling us a tentative launch window for the POCO X5 series or any other details surrounding it, we expect to know more about it in the coming days.

Meanwhile, the tally of phones shared by Brar includes iQOO 11, Redmi Note 12 Pro and Note 12 Pro+, and Vivo X90 and X90 Pro for January 2023, as well as, OnePlus 11, Samsung Galaxy S23 Series, Motorola Edge 40 Pro, Xiaomi 13 Ultra, and iQOO Neo 7 for February. And now, the POCO X5 series joins the list. The first couple of months of 2023 will be busy for those following the latest tech happenings, with a plethora of smartphones launching left and right.
