Pokemon Go: Mythical Pokemon Shaymin to Return During Sustainability Week

Sustainability Week has already begun, and fans of Pokemon Go have a ton of content to enjoy until its end next week.

The week features the debut of new characters such as Bounsweet, the Fruit Pokemon and its evolutions Steenee and Tsareena. Along with that, players can also check out themed Timed Researches as well, with several items as rewards alongside encounters with characters like Drilbur, Trubbish and Bounsweet. And maybe, you get a chance to earn a Shiny version of these Pokemon as well.

However, it’s just not the debut of Bounsweet with Pokemon Go’s latest event, as Niantic has also announced the Pokemon GO Fest 2022 legend, Shaymin.

The Mythical Pokemon debuted last year during the event, and this week, the character will make its long-awaited global debut.

Shaymin will make its way to the game during Sustainability Week as a special research, and it will be free for all trainers on Pokemon Go. Through the research, players have the chance to gain an encounter with it in its land form.

The special research in question is called Grass and Gratitude. Here’s the official description from Niantic for the new story:

“It turns out that Shaymin has been sighted in the area, but Professor Willow needs your help to track it down! Assist Professor Willow, and perhaps the gratitude you show on the way will be key to finding this elusive Pokémon.”

Sustainability Week on Pokemon Go will end on April 26.
