Pokemon Go Resolves ‘Technical Issue’ Affecting Remote Raids

Pokemon Go recently hiked the prices of their Remote Raid passes and also limited Remote Raids to 5 times per day. Players have already been disappointed with this decision by Niantic and recently they had face another big hindrance in this game mode.

Pokemon Go Shiny Encounters

This hindrance was related to shiny encounters, where players reported that the shiny appearance rate for Pokemon during Remote Raids had become much lower than normal. Fortunately, NianticSupport Twitter account has announced that this issue has been fixed and players will experience normal shiny appearance rates again.

It seems like there was a “technical issue” that affected the Shiny Encounter rate for Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf in Remote Raids. After the fix, their encounter rate should become normal for all players. Niantic have apologised for the issue and have also stated that they will be sharing details about a “special Raid event” through the Pokemon Go blog soon.

Pokemon Go Reward

Moreover, Niantic has taken their commitment to the players one step further as they have stated that impacted players will be compensated for the inconvenience caused. Impacted players will be “granted a Remote Raid Pass for each one use in these Raids during the affected time” and an additional one that will be deposited directly in their Pokemon Go account.
