Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Players Can Claim a Dark-Type Tera Charizard for Free Till August 31

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have just announced that players will have a chance to grab a variant of one of the most popular Pokemon in the franchise: a Dark-Tera Type Charizard. The Pokemon will be available to claim for free until August 31, 2023.

As reported by Gamespot, the Dark-Tera Type Charizard is being introduced to the game in celebration of the new expansion, Obsidian Flames. To get this special Charizard, players will receive the Pokemon through a Mystery Gift.

Here are the steps on how to add the Dark-Tera Type Charizard to your Pokemon Scarlet and Violet collection:

• In Pokemon Scarlet or Violet, open Poke Portal, that can be found in the X Menu.
• There, players should look for the Mystery Gift option and select it.
• Then find the “Get with code or password option” and use this password: DARKTERA006.
• And then you’re done! You can now download your Dark-Tera Type Charizard, but don’t forget to save the game.

For those curious about the Dark-Tera Type Charizard’s stats, it will be at level 50, and have the Blaze ability. The moves it possesses are Flare Blitz, Belly Drum, Crunch, and Acrobatics.
