PS Plus June 2023 free PS4 and PS5 games: Demon’s Souls and COD Vanguard?
Sony is holding a massive PlayStation Showcase event later this week, leading to speculation that it could reveal the June 2023 PS Plus games early. If Sony follows tradition, then the June 2023 PlayStation Plus games will be announced on May 31. However, Sony has used previous State of Play events to unveil PS Plus games ahead of schedule, so subscribers might want to check out this Wednesday’s hour-long presentation to find out more. As we count down to the big event, Express Online is predicting the free PS4 and PS5 games for June 2023.
If Sony does announce the PS Plus line-up early, then it’s likely to contain a blockbuster or two.
With this in mind, Express Online is predicting that PS5 launch title Demon’s Souls will be one of the free games for June 2023.
A remake of the FromSoftware classic, Demon’s Souls takes place in the kingdom of Boletaria, where deadly creatures roam the land.
“Entirely rebuilt from the ground up and masterfully enhanced, this remake introduces the horrors of a fog-laden, dark fantasy land to a whole new generation of gamers,” reads the official description.
“Those who’ve faced its trials and tribulations before can once again challenge the darkness in stunning visual quality and incredible performance.”
Various Call of Duty releases have also made their way to PS Plus, so don’t be surprised if Call of Duty Vanguard joins the line-up in June.
The WWII shooter features an extensive campaign, as well as the usual array of multiplayer maps, plus a Zombies experience.
“Rise on every front: Dogfight over the Pacific, airdrop over France, defend Stalingrad with a sniper’s precision and blast through advancing forces in North Africa,” reads the Vanguard description.
“The Call of Duty franchise returns with Call of Duty: Vanguard, developed by Sledgehammer Games, where players will be immersed in visceral WWII combat on an unprecedented global scale.”
Of course, there’s a good chance Sony could add another first-party game to the line-up, with Ratchet and Clank: A Rift Apart the most likely candidate.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is another game that could make an appearance, alongside God of War Ragnarok, or Horizon Forbidden West.
Needless to say, Express Online will keep you updated with any developments, so check back during the PlayStation Showcase on May 24.
