PSG ready monster contract to make Rashford one of world’s best paid
Manchester United may face a financial fight they can’t win to keep Marcus Rashford at the club beyond his current contract. PSG are ready to make the 25-year-old one of the world’s best-paid players to sign him on a free transfer in 2024.
Rashford’s deal at Old Trafford is set to expire at the end of the season, but United will want to trigger a one-year option to give them more time to tie him down to new terms. But after a difficult couple of seasons before this one, the England star could be eyeing a new challenge overseas as soon as possible.
Paris will be a standout destination, with PSG plotting to use their financial might to fend off all competition for Rashford’s signature. The Ligue 1 giants are preparing a package potentially worth up to a jaw-dropping £850,000 a week, the Mirror report.
Rashford will be free to negotiate with overseas suitors from next month, and Bayern Munich and Real Betis have joined PSG in the frame. However, the Qatar-backed outfit are in the box seat with an offer brewing that other clubs across Europe could only dream of conjuring up.

It’s claimed that Bayern have been monitoring Rashford’s situation in M16, but the figures PSG are preparing to offer the Red Devils forward are likely to end their interest. Betis also aren’t expected to challenge an offer of that magnitude; the La Liga club are understood to be willing to reach £500,000 tops.
If PSG’s interest becomes concrete with an approach, Rashford will have a big decision to make after returning to form for his boyhood club and country this season.
There is a belief that he returned from injury rehabilitation too soon under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, subsequently hindering his form and confidence in the Norwegian’s final months and Ralf Rangnick’s tumultuous tenure.
