PUBG’s new map Deston is set in a futuristic world with various biomes like mountains, coasts, swamps, and islands. The map features ascenders that help players enter skyscrapers. These ascenders will be the only way to reach higher floors in certain buildings. If you wish to jump off higher floors, then Deston also has utility parachutes that will let you land safely. PUBG: Battlegrounds 18.2 update has also introduced new vehicles like airboats that can traverse through the land as well as water, and the Pillar Car, which is the fastest car in the game. Besides these, PUBG has introduced the O12 shotgun that fires slug rounds with a high rate of fire, and MP9 SMG comes with a suppressor and laser sight built in. Finally, the 18.2 update brings enhancements for PS5 and Xbox Series X, which allow players to play PUBG: Battlegrounds at 4K 60 FPS. Meanwhile, Xbox Series S players can play the game on FHD resolution at 60 FPS.

PUBG: Battlegrounds will be running two new events. From July 22nd at 12:30 AM to August 18th at 12:30 AM, players will be able to earn new sprays, emotes, contraband coupons, and costumes. Along with these, Xbox players can get a Mini14 skin, summer-themed costumes, contraband coupons, and more by logging in every day from July 22nd to August 4th.
