Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay downplayed quarterback Matthew Stafford’s right elbow injury in a chat with reporters at training camp Saturday.

Sean McVay said the way Matthew Stafford threw today during practice, “I don’t think you would know that anything was going on.”<br><br>”I know that I’m going to sleep better tonight.”

Stafford is experiencing “bad tendinitis” in his elbow, per a report from Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Stafford dealt with a host of injuries last year, as ESPN’s Dianna Russini reported during the season.

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, has been dealing with pain in his throwing arm, his elbow, a sore ankle, and chronic back pain, per sources. <br>He will play today.

The 34-year-old played through the pain and ended up leading the Rams to their second-ever Lombardi Trophy.
