Raphael Varane ‘on the verge of joining Man Utd’ with personal terms now agreed
Manchester United are now reportedly ‘on the verge’ of signing Raphael Varane with personal terms already agreed with the talismanic French defender. The Red Devils appear to be closing in on what will be their third summer signing having already brought in Tom Heaton and Jadon Sancho.
Now there is optimism that Varane is heading to Old Trafford is Ole Gunnar Solskjaer attempts to launch a Premier League title challenge.
Varane is a player the club have been tracking since his time at Lens when Sir Alex Ferguson was still at the helm.
However, after completing his move to Real Madrid, Varane soon became part of the furniture at the Bernabeu where his partnership alongside Sergio Ramos has been cherished.
Now Sport1 reporter Patrick Berger is adamant the deal is now in the final stages.

He tweeted: “Raphael Varane is on verge to join Manchester United. The 28-year-old centre-back agreed with #MUFC on personal terms. Contract until 2026.
“Now the clubs have to find a solution. Real Madrid want a bit more than €50. All parties confident the deal will happen soon.”
