Ratan Tata has an important announcement on his ‘investments’ in cryptocurrency – Times of India

The Tata Group chairman emeritus Ratan Tata has made an important clarification about his investment in cryptocurrency. In a post on micro blogging website Twitter, Ratan Tata said that he has no associations with cryptocurrency of any form.
“I request netizens to please stay aware. I have no associations with cryptocurrency of any form,” the 85-year-old industrialist said in a tweet. The tweet has an image that says on top: This is an extremely important announcement. Below it adds, “If you see any articles or ads mentioning may association with cryptocurrency, they are absolutely untrue and meant to scam citizens.” It also has an example of a so-called analysis that has the headline: Ratan Tata’s Recent investment has experts in disbelief and major banks concerned.

Mahindra Group chairman Anand Mahindra too is reported to be victim of such fake news report claiming that his latest investment in cryptocurrencies had left “banks terrified” and “experts in awe”.
The report had claimed that Anand Mahindra has found a ‘wealth loophole’ that can make investors a millionaire in three to four months. Mahindra had then come out with a similar clarification. “This would be highly amusing if it wasn’t so unethical &, in fact, dangerous. Someone saw this online & alerted me. I need to make people aware that this is completely fabricated & fraudulent. Takes fake news to a new level. Ironically, I’ve not invested a single rupee in cryptos,” he said in a tweet dated November 19, 2021.
