Razer has launched its first-ever AMD-powered Razer Blade gaming laptop in the form of the new Razer Blade 14. The new laptop comes with the a 5000 series Ryzen 9 chipset and can be equipped with up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 graphics. The Razer Blade 14 2021 is a compact powerhouse that features a slim design along with a 14-inch display. The company has always used Intel processors on their laptops, but AMD’s Ryzen processors have seen major improvements in recent years.

Razer Blade 14 price and specifications

The Razer Blade 14 2021 is priced at USD 1,799 (approx Rs 1,31,800) for the base variant, which comes with the AMD Ryzen 9-5900HX processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 graphics. It has a 14-inch FHD display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and 1TB SSD. The laptop can be purchased today across several regions.

Coming to the specifications, the Blade 14 is only available with the AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX processor. This is an octa-core chipset that offers 16 threads with a maximum clock speed of 4.6GHz. For graphics, you can opt for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060, 3070, or 3080. Razer provides two display options for the laptop, with a standard FHD 144Hz 14-inch panel, or a QHD resolution screen with a 165Hz refresh rate. Both offerings support AMD FreeSync technology and cover 100 per cent DCI-P3 range. 

Apart from this, the laptop features 16GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM, a 1TB SSD, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and an assortment of connectivity ports. You get an RGB keyboard, a Precision Glass touchpad, stereo speakers, Windows Hello support, and THX Spatial Audio. Razer claims that the Blade 14 can deliver up to 12 hours of battery life. All of this is packed into one of the thinnest and most compact gaming laptops available in the market. It’s also the slimmest 14-inch laptop to be equipped with the Nvidia RTX 3080 GPU.
