Razer has added a new gaming laptop to its portfolio, the Blade 15, the successor to 2019’s Razer Blade 15. The Razer Blade 15 is the world’s first laptop to come with a 240Hz OLED panel. In addition to that, the laptop comes with the latest 12th gen Intel Core i9 paired with Nvidia RTX 3070 GPU. The laptop will be made available in the last quarter of 2022.
Razer Blade 15: Price, availability
The Razer Blade 15 comes at a price of Rs $3,499.99 (Rs 2,67,800) in the United States. It will be available to purchase starting Q4 2022. However, there is no word on the laptop’s availability in India or other markets outside the United States.
Razer Blade 15: Specifications
The previous Razer 15 model offered a choice between 240Hz LCD or a 4K OLED panel. Meanwhile, 2022’s Razer 15 finds a middle ground between the both and offers a 240Hz QHD OLED panel.
The 15.6-inch QHD OLED display on the Razer 15 offers a resolution of 2,560×1,440 pixels, a refresh rate of 240Hz and a 1ms response rate. Razer 15’s OLED panel on the laptop covers 100 per cent of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. Further, the panel has a peak brightness of 400 nits.
Under the hood, the Razer 15 comes with the 12th gen Intel Core i9-12900H processor. The graphic operations are handled by a dedicated Nvidia RTX 3070 GPU. The laptop comes with 32GB of DDR5 RAM and 1TB of SSD. There is an extra M.2 slot to install an extra SSD in the future. The laptop offers a wide range of connectivity options including Bluetooth, WiFi, a Thunderbolt 4 port, USB-C port, USB-A port, an HDMI port and an SD card reader. It runs Windows 11 Home Edition out-of-the-box.
