NEW DELHI: Skipper Alyssa Healy fired and unbeaten 47-ball 96 as UP Warriorz blew away a clueless Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Brabourne Stadium on Friday for their second win of the season. Healy cracked the highest individual score of the tournament as Warriors registered a record 10-wicket win.
It was Bangalore’s fourth straight defeat of the season as they now stare at early elimination from the tournament.

Spinners Sophie Ecclestone (4/13) and Deepti Sharma (3/26) led from the front as they decimated Bangalore middle-order to bowl them out for a lowly 138 despite getting off to a solid start. The duo shared 7 wickets as Warriorz throughout kept Bangalore under the pump.

Healy then took the RCB bowlers to the cleaners as her partnership with Devika Vaidya (36*) helped Warriorz cruise past the target in 13 overs.
