What is the pitch report for RCB-W vs UP-W, Women’s Premier League 2023, Match 8?
It is that kind of a wicket where the batters can straightaway come in and whack the ball. The bowlers need to be highly smart to avoid the run-flow. Batting first is a good option.

Pre-Match Analysis:
Poor captaincy, fielding lapses, and ordinary bowling shows have cost RCB Women the first 3 matches as they are still searching for their first win in this WPL. They showed more character with the bat however couldn’t match the asking rate against Gujarat Giants and lost the match by 11 runs. Richa Ghosh who came in at No.4 could have accelerated better when she scored a run-a-ball 10 runs which made a huge difference. As usual, the bowling errors are hurting them immensely as they conceded 200-plus runs on a couple of occasions already. Sophie Devine found her touch and scored 66 runs in the last outing which is a sense of relief. They need to be more proactive on the field if they want to secure their first win.
UP Warriorz paid a huge prize against Delhi Capitals by dropping Grace Harris despite her batting exploits in the previous game. They fall short by 42 runs while chasing a massive 211 runs. Tahlia McGrath fought valiantly and remained unbeaten on 90* runs. Alyssa Healy and K P Navgire’s shot selection wasn’t that great which proved to be costly as well. Replacing a batter in the form of Shabnim Ismail didn’t pay high dividends as the latter managed to pick up only one wicket. With one win and a loss, they are placed 3rd in the standings with 2 points.
