The company took to Twitter to share a teaser of the upcoming device. The tweet not only confirmed the launch date of Realme 10 4G but also shared a few key details about the handset. Realme has also shared a link to the dedicated microsite that is promoting the phone on the e-tailer site Flipkart. The company claims that the upcoming device will offer “Epic performance, New Vision”.

According to the Twitter post, the upcoming Realme device will be available for purchase in India on January 9 at 12:30 PM. The smartphone’s dedicated micro-site on Flipkart has also revealed some of the details about the specs and features available on the Realme 10 4G handset. Realme has also confirmed that the upcoming phone will come powerd by MediaTek‘s Helio G99 processor. The company has also promised a 90Hz refresh rate display for the phone. The Indian variant of the Realme 10 4G is expected to have similar specs as the global variant.

The upcoming device is likely to sport a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display that may support a 20:9 aspect ratio, a 90Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz touch sampling rate. Apart from that, Realme 10 4G is also expected to support Always on Display (AOD) and run Realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12.
Realme has confirmed that the Indian variant of the Realme 10 device will feature a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset that will be backed up by up to 256GB of internal storage and up to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM (that can be expanded up to 8GB with virtual RAM).
For photography, the Realme 10 4G may house a dual rear camera setup that will include a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a rear LED flash. The phone may also have a 16MP front shooter for selfies and video calls. Apart from this, the upcoming device will also be equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a USB Type-C port, a microSD card slot, dual 4G bands, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC.
The latest handset is likely to pack a 5000mAh battery unit that may support 33W fast charging and may feature a fingerprint scanner on the side for improved security.
