Realme 10S reaches the Chinese shores with MediaTek SoC – Smartprix

Recently, Realme launched two new phones from the 10 series in the market – Realme 10 Pro and Realme 10 Pro Plus. Now, the brand has rolled out Realme 10S 5G in the Chinese market. The device comes with a MediaTek processor and can be dubbed a budget smartphone. The design of the handset is quite similar to that of the Realme 10 4G, which is yet to launch in the Indian market.

Regarding the pricing, the device’s 8GB RAM variant with 128GB internal storage is available at a CNY 1099, which converts to 13,100. On the other hand, the 8GB RAM variant of the smartphone with 256GB internal storage can be purchased for CNY 1299, which converts to Rs 15,400. Until now, it has not been confirmed when the device will reach the Indian shores. However, expectations are that the smartphone will hit the Indian market near the price point of Rs 15,000. It is being shipped in two different colour variants, including – Crystal Black and Streamer Blue.

Realme 10S 5G specifications and features

The Realme 10S 5G features a 6.6-inch FHD+ display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 400 nits of peak brightness. On the front, the display has a waterdrop notch for the placement of the front snapper. The smartphone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor paired with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. It also supports memory expansion via microSD card. The handset operates on the Realme UI 3.0 based on the Android 13 operating system.

In terms of optics, the device rocks a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP secondary shooter. For the sake of selfies and video calls, the handset comes with 8MP front shooter. The smartphone is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Other connectivity features of the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, and more.
