Realme 9 Pro price in India (leaked)

The folks over at tech blog Passionate Geekz claim the Realme 9 Pro price in India will start at Rs 17,999. This base variant is said to have 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The higher capacity 8GB + 128GB variant is likely to be priced at Rs 19,999. Previously, Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth had said the 9 Pro series will be priced above Rs 15,000 in the country, without giving a specific starting point.

The Realme 9 Pro will sit below the Realme 9 Pro+ when it launches in India and is expected to feature a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display. The panel is claimed to support 120Hz refresh rate, 399ppi pixel density, HDR10, and FHD+ resolution. Android 11-based Realme UI will be part of the package too.

In terms of performance, under the hood, the Realme 9 Pro will get the Snapdragon 695 from Qualcomm, coupled with 6GB and 8GB RAM options. The Realme 9 Pro is expected to have 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage and no microSD card slot for further storage expansion. Instead, there will be up to 5GB of virtual RAM.

At the back, the Realme 9 Pro will have a 64MP main camera sensor with f/1.8 aperture. This is backed by an 8MP ultrawide sensor with 119-degree field of view and a 2MP macro lens. Up front, a 16MP shooter will take on the selfie duties.

The Realme 9 Pro will draw juice from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast-charging. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type C, 3.5mm jack, NFC, and GPS will be part of the connectivity suite.
