Realme GT 2 Pro launched in India with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 120Hz AMOLED display: price, specs, sale date
Key Realme GT 2 Pro specifications include a 2K AMOLED LTPO 2.0 display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset, 50MP triple cameras and 65W fast charging. Realme also launched the Realme 9 4G, Realme Buds Air 3, Realme Book Prime, and an FHD streaming stick during today’s event.

Realme GT 2 Pro price in India is set at Rs 49,999 for the 8GB+128GB model and Rs 52,999 for the 12GB+256GB version. The device comes in Green and White colour options and will be on sale via Flipkart and Realme websites. The first sale is on April 14th at 12 noon.

The Realme GT 2 Pro features a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED LTPO 2.0 display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio, 525 PPI, 10-bit colour, 100 percent P3 colour gamut, 1000Hz Turbocharged touch sampling rate, HDR10+, 1,400nits brightness, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus support, and MEMC.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon Gen 1 chipset powers the Realme GT 2 Pro device. There’s a stainless steel vapour chamber to dissipate heat during gaming sessions. Realme claims it is the largest on any smartphone and is said to lower up to 19-degree celsius peak core temperature. There’s GT 3.0 mode for a seamless top-end performance. The phone packs up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Connectivity options for the Realme GT 2 Pro include 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, 360-degree NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It measures 163.2 x 74.7 x 8.18mm and weighs 189 grams. There is a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. Other features onboard include Dolby Atmos, dual stereo speakers, and Hi-Res audio.
Moving to cameras, the Realme GT 2 Pro has triple cameras on the back, comprising of a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and OIS and EIS, a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultra-wide-angle lens with a 150-degree FoV, and a 40X microscope lens. There is a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
The handset runs on Android 12 based Realme UI 3.0 custom skin out of the box and packs an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Realme GT 2 Pro will take on the OnePlus 10 Pro in India.
