Realme GT 5G and Realme GT Master Edition 5G will be launched on August 18 – Smartprix
The Realme GT 5G series is set to launch in India very soon. The company has confirmed that Realme GT 5G and GT Master Edition will be released on August 18. The latter is touted as Realme’s Flagship Killer 2021. Both these smartphones will be available on Flipkart and realme.com. A dedicated page has also been created on the Flipkart¹ showing all its key specifications along with design hints. The company has also started sending invites for this launch event. You can also view this launch event on the company’s Facebook and YouTube account at 12.30 PM.
Realme CEO Madhav Seth first gave us a tease of the upcoming launch in episode 28 of his #AskMadhav activity. We are to believe that the specifications of these two smartphones will remain the same as they are in the global variant. However, there is no discussion on the launch of GT Master Explorer Edition at present.
Realme GT 5G Specs (Global Variant)
Realme GT has a 6.43 inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. Under the hood, there is Snapdragon 888 flagship chipset along side LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.

It has two storage variants 8GB+128GB storage variants and 12GB+256GB storage variants. Realme GT 5G has Realme UI 2.0 with Android 11 at the core. Realme GT 5G features triple rear cameras, including a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra wide angle lens, a 2MP macro lens.
Realme GT Master Edition 5G Specs (Global Variant)
The Realme GT Master Edition also has a 6.43-inch full HD+ AMOLED display, a 778G 5G chipset, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The phone has the same triple rear cameras as Realme GT.
In both smartphones you get 65W Super Dart fast charging support, which can charge the phone from 0% to 100% in just 33 minutes.
