Realme GT Neo 6 tipped to launch as ‘Realme GT 5’ globally

Realme GT 5 could be the next flagship from the brand

• According to OnLeaks, Realme is planning to launch the GT Neo 6 as ‘GT 5’ globally. The reason behind this isn’t clear though. 
• Another tipster DigitalChatStation had also claimed that the next flagship from Realme will be called Realme GT 5 and this will arrive with Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC.
• On the other hand, the Realme GT 5 Pro is also said to be in the works and this will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which might debut later this year.

• The Realme GT 5 is expected to debut in August in China.

• Display: The Realme GT 5 is expected to sport a 6.74-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper.
• Processor: The Reame phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip SoC paired with Adreno GPU.
• RAM and Storage: The phone will pack up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
• OS: The handset runs on Android 13-based Realme UI custom skin out of the box.
• Cameras: The Realme GT 5 is tipped to get a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor with OIS, 8MP secondary lens and a 2MP third camera unit. There will be a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
• Battery: The Realme phone is tipped to feature a 4,600mAh battery with 240W charging but there will be another variant with a 5,200mAh battery and 150W charging.
