Realme GT5 Spy Shots & Key Specs Revealed Ahead of August Launch – Smartprix Bytes

Both confirmed and spy shot, Realme GT5 is happening and it will be huge. After skipping Realme GT3 and GT4, the Chinese tech juggernaut is working on the next-gen Realme GT5 that was confirmed at the ChinaJoy event. Perhaps, what’s exciting is the fact that we just got the first look at the device thanks to certain leaked spy shots showing Realme GT5 albeit with a privacy protector on it.

Realme GT 5 Design Revealed via Spy Shot

Tipster @OnLeaks got his hands on the first set of renders showing Realme GT Neo6 which will launch in China as Realme GT5. Digital Chat Station took it further, adding a bunch of additional information and an image that shows the phone as it marks its evident launch soon.

Realme GT5

Realme GT5 (or Realme GT Neo 6) sports a 6.67” OLED panel boosting a 1240×2772 pixels resolution. The phone has a rumored 144Hz refresh rate on top. There’s a centrally placed punch-hole cut-out for its selfie shooter as you can see in the image here. However, the phone uses a protective case hiding much of the details.

Moving on, Realme GT5 will pack in a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC under the hood paired with 24GB of RAM. For the unversed, Realme GT5 is amongst a couple of phones with 24GB. Moving on, we have heard about 150W and 240W wired charging variants just like Realme GT Neo 5 trims.

The renders already show a semi-transparent back panel hosting its triple camera setup housed in two humongous circular cutouts and a rectangular LED flash is adjoined to the sensors. The entire camera bump protrudes above the back panel, however, it has slopes rather than abruptly popping upwards which is good aesthetically.

Realme GT5 is expected to be announced sometime in August as some marketing posters are already online albeit not officially. It will be launched as Realme GT Neo 6 outside its home country.
