Top 5 new Realme phones launching in 2021

1. Realme GT Master Edition

Realme GT Master Edition

The Realme GT 5G Master edition is believed to be the Realme GT camera flagship that is expected to launch in July globally, if not in India. The handset has been teased to be in the works by Realme VP Xu Qi Chase. The Realme GT 5G Master edition specifications are rumoured to be as follows: Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood, 108MP triple rear cameras, a 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 4,500mAh battery, which could be backed by a 65W fast charging solution. There is no word on Realme GT 5G Master edition price at the moment.

2. Realme 9 series

The Realme 9 series will succeed the Realme 8 series that launched earlier this year. The Realme 9 series is not expected to surface until much later in 2021. We’re probably looking at a November or December launch. The Realme 9 moniker was recently spotted on the Realme India website, which means it will arrive in the country at some point. Realme 9 specifications are still under wraps, but we expect to see 5G connectivity across the lineup along with faster Snapdragon/MediaTek chipsets, AMOLED display, high refresh rate, and fast charging support.

3. Realme Quicksilver

Realme confirmed last month that it will launch a phone, codenamed Quicksilver, that will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset. The newly-launched chipset is based on a 6nm process with the Qualcomm Kryo 670 CPU. The processor offers 40 percent performance improvement, 40 percent GPU improvement, and improved energy efficiency compared to the previous generation chipset. The upcoming Realme phone will come with a GT mode and a new cooling system. This also suggests that the smartphone could be part of the Realme GT series.

4. Realme X9 series

Realme X7 (for representation)

Earlier this week, Realme X9 and Realme X9 Pro prices and specifications were tipped. The Realme X9 is said to cost RMB 2,000 (around Rs 22,800) and RMB 2,500 (approx Rs 28,500), while the X9 Pro could be priced between RMB 2,500 (approx Rs 28,500) and RMB 3,000 (around Rs 34,200). The Realme X9 is tipped to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, which means it could be the Realme Quicksilver device. The Realme X9 Pro, on the other hand, may feature the Snapdragon 870 SoC. Other features could include a 120Hz AMOLED display, 65W fast charging, and quad cameras.

5. Realme GT 2

In addition to the Realme GT Master Edition, the company plans to launch another phone in the Realme GT series, presumably called Realme GT 2. The handset will reportedly rock the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 890 SoC under the hood. The phone is also expected to come with a 108MP camera and an impressive set of additional sensors. That’s all the information we can divulge at the moment.

These are some of the Realme new phones that are expected to launch in 2021. In addition to this, Realme CEO Madhav Sheth has confirmed that the company will soon launch 5G smartphone priced around Rs 7,000 in India. We’ll keep updating this article as and when a new Realme mobile phone hits the rumour mill, so keep watching the space.
