There have been speculations going around for some time that Realme is all set to launch a new tablet. Now, the company has confirmed that the upcoming tablet will be called Realme Pad X and launch in China on May 26 at 2 PM local time. The company has started taking pre-orders for the Pad X in China through its online store. The tablet is listed at 99,999 yuan (Rs 11,62,304), which seems to be a placeholder and the final price of the tablet will be announced later. This upcoming tablet is the same rumoured high-end Realme tablet which was supposed to launch this month.
The upcoming tablet is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. Unlike two current Realme tablets, the Pad X would be a mid-range tablet with 5G support.
The listing on the company’s online store listing shows the tablet in a green colourway, very similar to the Neo Green colour option of the GT Neo 2. The Pad X would also be coming in blue and black colours. Further, the listing also shows a pencil styled stylus suggesting that the upcoming tablet would come with stylus support.
The Realme Pad X is rumoured to feature a QHD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Rumours suggest that it could have an 11-inch display. Moreover, the tablet is expected to boast an 8,360mAh battery.
The company announced its first tablet – the Realme Pad – in 2021.
