realme: Snapdragon 870 powered Realme Pad coming soon – Times of India

Realme is working on a new tablet – a flagship one – or, as the company says, the “king of tablets.” The third entry in Realme’s tablet lineup is expected to be a high-end offering, powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset, sitting above the Realme Pad and Pad Mini. And this new tablet is coming soon.
Xu Qi, Vice President of Realme, China, took to the Chinese social media platform Weibo to tease the company’s next offering in the tablet segment. Even before the launch, he did not shy away from awarding the upcoming tablet as the best in its price segment but kept his lips tight about the pricing. However, Qi revealed that it would be the cheapest Snapdragon 870 powered tablet. Again, we don’t know how much it would cost in India or any other market.
As for the specifications, the said Realme Pad is rumoured to feature a QHD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Snapdragon 870 chipset is expected to power Realme’s upcoming tablet. Further, it might come with an 8360mAH battery. We expect to learn more about the company’s upcoming tablet as the launch nears.
The tablet is rumoured to launch later this month alongside the GT Neo3 150W Naruto special edition. Further, we expect it to launch in India in a month or two after its initial launch in China. There is no word on the pricing yet but we expect Realme to price it competitively, considering the company’s claim of it being one of the cheapest tablets with Snapdragon 870.
