Realme to launch its most powerful smartphone in India on August 18 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Realme is all set to launch its most powerful smartphone in India. Realme India and Europe CEO, Madhav Sheth has confirmed that Realme will launch its GT 5G smartphone in India on August 18. Along with the ‘vanilla’ edition, the company will launch the GT Master Edition which was launched in China last month.
In the latest episode of #AskMadhav, Sheth also confirmed that the company will not make any changes in the Realme GT 5G for India and it will be the same as the global version. Talking about the pricing, Sheth said that Realme GT 5G is a flagship smartphone so it will be priced above Rs 30,000 due to its specs and build quality.
Realme GT 5G specifications
Realme GT 5G is powered by the most powerful octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. The smartphone features a 6.43-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers a 120Hz refresh rate.
Realme GT 5G runs Android 11 operating system topped with the company’s own Realme UI 2.0. The smartphone comes in two variants — 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Realme GT 5G sports a triple rear camera setup with 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash, Sony IMX682 sensor, 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.3 aperture, 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture.
The sports car-inspired smartphone is backed by a 4500mAh battery with 65W Super Dart charging support.
Realme products to launching soon in India
Sheth also confirmed that the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro smartphones will soon get the RAM expansion feature in India. Along with this, the company will also expand its Realme 8 series with the launch of Realme 8i and the Realme 8s in the country. The company is also focusing on expanding its audio product lineup in India and will launch Bluetooth speakers next month, he confirmed.
Talking about the Realme laptop, Sheth said that it will come with the best display in the price segment and will feature a thin and lightweight design. On the other hand, the Realme Pad will offer a balanced performance and will target both students and professionals. The Realme Pad is in the final testing stage and will launch soon in India.
