Red Bull MEO Season 5 India Finale Concludes With an In-Person Event; Here Are All the Results, and More

Red Bull MEO Season 5 India Finale concluded as an in-person event at the Sunder Nursery in New Delhi on Nov 20, 2022. The event ranged from nerve-wracking competitive moments to fun banter and games with some of the biggest names in the Indian Gaming Industry. The event was all a fan could ask for and more as they got to meet and greet the likes of Ankit Panth, Jonathan Gaming, Payal Gaming and many more.

Fans got to see the India finals for not one, but three different titles, namely, Clash of Clans, World Cup Cricket 3 and Pokemon Unite. The top players and teams from all three games had qualified to the finals after a fierce competition in the prior stages. All the participants arrived at the grand finale with just one goal, to put up the best performances to clinch the win. World Cup Cricket 3

This one was a best of 3 competition, which took place between two individuals, Rachakonda Sai Kumar and Ujjwal Sharma. The first match was an interesting one, as we not only got to see a hat-trick, but a super over too which ended in a tie. The next two matches were completely dominated by Sai Kumar as he won the first one with a whopping 9 wickets and the final with 24 runs.

Clash of Clans

The next competition was Clash of Clans and the format was best of two. Fans got to see some explosive aggression tactics, as well as some masterful defensive strategies. The competition took place between Marcos Esports and TWOB. Marcos Esports easily won the first round with a score of 12 stars and 92.40% damage, compared to TWOB’s 11 stars and 87.80% damage.

The second round was extremely close, but Marcos Esports got the edge. Their final score was 10 stars and 88.40% damage, compared to TWOB’s 10 stars and 85.60% damage. Check out the rosters for both the teams below:

Pokemon UNITE

This was one of the most exciting competitions of the night, as we got to see unexpected twists and turns. The format of the competition was best of 3 and it took place between Revenant Esports and True Rippers.

The first round was very close as the score was tied up till the last 10 seconds of the game, True Rippers emerged victorious with a score of 270 over Revenant Esports 241. Revenant Esports comfortably took the second round of the competition with a score 320 to True Rippers 268.

The final match was the most exciting competition of the event. Revenant Esports completely dominated True Rippers for most of the match. But, the story didn’t their, as True Rippers pulled through the pressure and managed to knockout all the members of Revenant Esports to eventually win the competition. The final score of True Rippers was a staggering 487, compared to Revenant Esports 375. Check out the rosters for both the teams below:

Well, that’s not all, not only are Rachakonda Sai Kumar, Marcos Esports and True Rippers India Champion in their respective games, but also all of the players have been invited for the 2023 Austrian Grand Prix.

Esports was just one part of the event as attendees also had a chance to play some video games themselves. To offer this experience, the Red Bull team had prepared an arcade setup for gaming fans. There was also an interval show called the Good Game show, where fans got to see some of their favourite gaming stars participate in some trivia competitions.

Finally, the show ended with a performance from Srushti Tawde that had all the fans rapping along to her tunes. We also got to see an energetic performance from Red Bull Atlhlete, Ankit Panth.
