Redmi 11 Prime 4G India launch date revealed: specifications

The microsite confirms the Redmi 11 Prime 4G would come with the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and will be available in Black, Green and Purple colour options. The phone will have a waterdrop notch for the selfie snapper. It appears to have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

The Redmi 11 Prime 4G will be launching in India alongside the Redmi 11 Prime 5G on September 6th. The teaser images reveal the complete design and some key hardware specifications. It will come with the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, which is the latest SoC from house MediaTek. Going by what’s revealed so far, we believe the Redmi 11 Prime 4G could be a rebrand of the POCO M5, which is launching on September 5th. The camera placement of the Redmi 11 Prime 4G looks identical to the POCO M5.

The Amazon microsite reveals the Redmi 11 Prime will come equipped with a 50MP primary camera on the back, which could be accompanied by two other sensors. It will pack a 5000mAh battery that might have some sort of fast charging support. We can speculate it might have a 90Hz refresh rate, though the panel might be IPS LCD.
