The Redmi K50s Pro could ship with a 200MP main camera, right after the launch of the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra, which will be the first model with a 200MP camera and largest Samsung sensor. The Motorola Edge 30 Ultra is scheduled to launch on August 2nd in China under the name Moto X30 Pro and should roll out globally as well. It isn’t clear whether Redmi will use ISOCELL HP1 or HP3 sensor.

The Redmi K50s Pro is said to sport a 6.67-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support, HDR10+ certification and an in-display fingerprint. The phone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB and 12GB and 256GB storage. It is likely to boot Android 12 with MIUI 13 custom skin out of the box. There are chances that MIUI 14 might be announced at the same stage.

The Redmi K50s Pro will pack a 5000mAh battery that will support 120W fast charging out of the box. Moving to optics, the handset will have triple cameras on the back, with a 200MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro unit for close-up shots. It is said to get a 20MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. The Redmi K50s Pro will get dual stereo speakers.
