Redmi Note 10S starts receiving Android 13 update in India – Times of India

Xiaomi has started releasing the latest Android 13 update to its Redmi smartphones. As per MIUI’s official page, Redmi Note 10S has started receiving Android 13 update in India. The update has a 3.2GB download size and also includes the March 2023 Android security patch that brings new features to the smartphone. The MIUI 14 update which is based on the Android 13 operating system for the Redmi Note 10S is rolling out bearing the firmware version V14.0.2.0.TKLINXM. Xiaomi took to Twitter to confirm the rollout of the MIUI 14 update for the Redmi Note 10S.

Here’s how Redmi Note 10S users can download Android 13 update:

  1. Head to the Settings app on your Redmi Note 10S smartphone.
  2. Scroll down and look for Software Update.
  3. Tap on the Install option
  4. That’s it. The smartphone will be updated to the latest MUI4 based on the Android 13 operating system.

Redmi Note 10S: Price and colour options
Redmi Note 10S comes at a starting price of Rs 14,999 for the 6GB RAM+128GB storage model, while the 6GB RAM+128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 15,999. The smartphone comes in Shadow Black, Frost White and Deep Sea Blue and Cosmic Purple colour options.
Redmi Note 10S specifications
Redmi Note 10S features a 6.43-inch Full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixels resolution. The display has a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G95 processor paired with 6GB RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage variants — 64GB and 128GB. The storage can be further expanded using a microSD card.
Redmi Note 10S sports a quad camera setup comprising a 48MP main sensor, 8MP 118° ultra-wide sensor, 2MP depth and 2MP macro camera. The front is home to a 13MP camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
The smartphone comes with a water-resistant design. The device is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 33W charging support.
