Redmi Note 11T 5G launching in India: 5 phones it will compete against | 91mobiles.com


Smartphones are undeniably an integral part of our lives as they serve our portable computing needs, communication requirements, and wants for entertainment. Consumers today want all their wishes fulfilled at a competitive price and value-for-money offerings reign the industry. The budget end of midrange market now has devices that are 5G capable, thus, offering future-proofing it for advanced connectivity features as and when it is properly available in the country. Most major manufacturers have taken a shot at the market, and Xiaomi is soon going to introduce its Redmi Note 11T 5G smartphone which will succeed the Redmi Note 10T 5G back in July. 

Let’s take a look at other devices that can be considered instead of the new Redmi Note 11T 5G:

1. Samsung Galaxy M32 5G

Samsung‘s midrange players have gotten better over the years especially after witnessing stiff competition from its Chinese counterparts. Under the same light, is the inception of the Samsung Galaxy M32 5G, a good pick from Samsung’s M-lineup. The Galaxy M32 5G features a 6.5-inch TFT Infinity-V HD+ display measuring 1,600 X 720 pixels and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 layer but is limited to a 60Hz refresh rate. Under the skin, there is a MediaTek Dimensity 720 SoC paired to 6GB RAM and 128GB. The internal storage is upgradable to 1TB via a microSD card.

The Samsung Galaxy M32 5G along with its high speed 5G abilities also gets 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Powering the device is a 5,000mAh battery and plays host to a 48MP triple camera system and a 13MP front shooter.

2. Realme 8 5G

Realme was an early entrant into the budget 5G smartphone market and the Realme 8 5G comes as a strong competitor. The Realme 8 5G packs in a 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel and supports a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display has a maximum brightness of 600nits. The Realme 8 5G gets its power from a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G SoC and is paired to 4GB or 8GB RAM options. The Realme 8 5G also gets a dynamic RAM feature that basically allows swap memory.  

The Realme 8 5G draws juice from a 5,000mAh battery which comes with 18W fast charging. Other networking features in addition to 5G include dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. On the optics front, it deploys a 48MP triple camera sensor and a 16MP front camera.

3. Redmi Note 10 Pro

The Redmi Note series is a popular lineup from the house of Xiaomi in India. The lineup that was introduced back in March had brought along the Redmi Note 10 Pro which turns out to be a good pick when considering alternatives to the Redmi Note 11T 5G. Coming to the spec sheet the Redmi Note 10 Pro serves up a 120Hz 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display and is powered by a Snapdragon 732G SoC paired to up to 8GB of RAM. On the optics front, the device gets a 64MP quad-camera sensor and a 16MP front shooter. The Redmi Note 10 Pro drives juice from a 5,020mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. 

4. Moto G40 Fusion

Motorola the once-dominant force in the budget mid-range smartphone segment comes into the list with its Moto G40 Fusion smartphone. The Motorola G40 Fusion gets a 6.8-inch FHD+ display with HDR10 and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC paired to up to 6GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage. As per Motorola tradition, the Moto G40 Fusion inherits a clean and rather stock Android 11 out of the box. 

Amongst the list of connectivity options there lies 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The Moto G40 Fusion also plays host to a massive 6,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging. The device features a 64MP triple camera setup and a 32MP front shooter. The device is a tad heavy though, tipping scales at 225 grams.

5. OPPO A53s 5G

OPPO is often a trusted choice at this end of the market and the OPPO A53s 5G comes in as a good contender. The OPPO A5s 5G adopts an HD+ 6.5-inch display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 480nits of brightness. There was a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC on the inside paired up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Imaging is handled by a 13MP triple camera setup and an 8MP front selfie camera. Along with dual SIM 5G, the OPPO A53s 5G gets dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. The OPPO A53s 5G gets a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging. Out of the box, the OPPO A53s 5G runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top.
