Redmi Note 12 5G series specifications, expected price in India

All three new Redmi Note 12 5G series phones tout Super AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rates. This means you can expect a similar display experience across devices. The Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G all feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and DCI-P3 Color Gamut. As you go higher up in the series, the display will offer HDR10+ support, Dolby Vision, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Redmi Note 12 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset. Meanwhile, both the Redmi Note 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ models get the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset. All phones run on MIUI 13 based on Android 12. 

In the camera department, the Redmi Note 12 5G gets a 48MP primary camera accompanied by an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. There’s a 13MP front-facing camera for selfies. The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G gets a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple rear camera system. Lastly, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ touts a 200MP primary camera. The Redmi Note 12 5G phones come with a 5,000mAh battery. While the vanilla model supports 33W charging, the Redmi Note 12 Pro gets 67W charging support, and the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ gets 120W fast charging.

As for the pricing, the Redmi Note 12 5G is expected to cost between Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000. The Redmi Note 12 Pro could slot under Rs 20,000 while the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ could be priced around Rs 25,000.
