Other revealed codenames include Xiaomi “light”, “thunder”, “Zizhan”, “taoyao” and “opal”. The first two models are supposedly the internal codenames for Xiaomi’s upcoming foldable smartphone – Xiaomi Mi Mix Flip and Fold 2. The remaining four codenames could be for the upcoming Redmi Note 12 series, which could arrive in the second half of the year. Interestingly, one of the Redmi Note 12 series models is supposed to come with the unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series chipset.
