NEW DELHI: Xaiomi is expected to expand its Android tablet product lineup in India soon. The company recently launched the Xiaomi Pad 5 and now it is all set to launch the affordable Redmi Pad 5 in the country.
According to tipster Mukul Sharma, Xiaomi may soon launch the Redmi Pad 5 in India. Along with this, a report by IT Home revealed the likely price and specifications of the upcoming Android tablet from Xiaomi.

According to a report by IT Home, the Redmi Pad 5 is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor. The Android tablet is said to come with 5G support.
Redmi Pad 5 is said to feature ultra-linear quad-speaker setup and is tipped to feature a display with 90Hz refresh rate. The upcoming Android tablet is expected to come with 30W fast charging support and run the MIUI PadOS 13.
Redmi Pad 5 may also come with a Sony image sensor with AI photography capabilities.

As mentioned above, Xiaomi recently launched its Pad 5 Android tablet in India. Xiaomi Pad 5 comes in two variants — 128GB and 256GB priced at Rs 26,999 and Rs 28,999. The device comes in Cosmic Gray colour option and will go on sale starting May 7. As part of the launch offer, the company is giving the Android tablet at a discounted price of Rs 24,999 and 26,999 respectively.
Xiaomi Pad 5 comes with an 11-inch WQXGA display with 2560×1600 pixel resolution.
The display offers 120Hz refresh rate and it supports Dolby Vision. The Android tablet is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset. The device houses a 8720mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
