Redmi Smart TV Series features

As per the microsite, the Redmi Smart TV series would include 32-inch and 43-inch smart TVs. The teaser image shows the TV with slim bezels around the display, with a Redmi branding at the bottom chin. The upcoming TV series will feature Xiaomi’s in-house image processing technology, Vivid Picture Engine. Further, the TVs will be running PatchWall 4 on top of Android 11 with IMDB integration. The upcoming smart TVs from Redmi will be coming with support for Dolby Audio and DTS X audio. Both the TV will also feature Dual-Band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and Auto Low Latency mode.

More information about the Redmi Smart TV series will be coming in as we near the launch. The Redmi Smart TV series is expected to be priced below the Smart TV X series, so we can expect the upcoming TVs from Redmi to be more budget-oriented.

In related news, Xiaomi India confirmed that the company is dropping India’s ‘Mi’ branding to unify the global presence. Moving forward, there will be two brands, Xiaomi and Redmi, operating in India. The new products under the Xiaomi brand will use the new logo; meanwhile, the corporate side will use the old Mi logo.
