Reinhardt picked to win MSC Appalachian Division

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Reinhardt (Ga.) has been selected as the favorites to win the Appalachian Division in the 2021 Mid-South Conference Football Preseason Coaches’ Poll, MSC officials announced on Friday
The Eagles received 36 voting points, including six of the seven first-place votes from the coaches.
Reinhardt won its fourth-consecutive MSC Appalachian Division title with a perfect 6-0 record in divisional play. The Eagles finished last season with a 9-1 overall record advance to the quarterfinals of the NAIA Football Championship Series.
Faulkner (Ala.) finished second in the balloting with 31 voting points and the final first-place vote. St. Andrews (N.C.) is third in the poll with 21 points and Kentucky Christian is slotted fourth with 20 points.
Point (Ga.) sits fifth in the poll with 14 points, Bluefield (Va.) is sixth with 13 points and Union (Ky.) rounds out the poll with 12 points.
Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team in the poll.
