Reliance Jio discontinues Disney+Hostar bundle plan worth Rs 1,499 – Times of India

Telecom operator Reliance Jio has removed the Rs 1,499 from its prepaid plan bundle packs. This plan offered a free subscription to Disney+Hotstar’s Mobile Edition for one year along with other regular benefits. The recharge plan is no longer available for purchase via third-party recharge platforms like Paytm, GPay, Amazon Pay, and others in addition to the website or mobile app of the telco.
What the Rs 1,499 prepaid recharge plan offered
The Rs 1499 plan offered 2GB of daily data, unlimited voice calling, and 100 SMS per day for an 84-day validity. In addition to this, the plan included a Disney+Hotstar Premium bundle for one year and access to multiple Jio apps.

Previously removed Disney+Hotstar bundle plans
Earlier, the company scrapped its Disney+ Hotstar subscription bundle plan worth Rs 4,199, which offered 3GB of daily data, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited voice calling for 365 days with Jio app benefits.
According to TelecomTalk, the company had also removed plans worth Rs 399, Rs 419, Rs 499, Rs 583, Rs 601, Rs 783, Rs 799, Rs 1,099, and Rs 1,199 – all of which were bundled with Disney+ Hotstar subscriptions. As a result, Reliance Jio no longer offers Disney+ and Hotstar bundle plans or any OTT benefits bundles for prepaid plans.
