Reliance Jio Network goes down in certain parts of the Country: Users trend #JioDown on Twitter – Smartprix

Is Jio internet services not working? Users from several parts of India are complaining about Jio Network being down since today morning. The users are complaining that they are unable to make calls or use the internet on their Jio Sim. #JioDown is currently trending on Twitter and the users are tagging @RelianceJio in their tweets, asking the service provider to address the matter.

There are around 7.5k tweets under this hashtag and it is trending among the top 10 topics in India at the moment. Since Reliance Jio is the only 4G network, users cannot fall back to 3G or 2G to replace it.

Though the Jio network is not down for all the users across the country, the Down detector also shows around 4000+ users reporting network issues on their Jio Networks and the spike has been increasing every minute. 40% of these people are experiencing no signal too. The network issue is said to be impacting cities like Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and some other cities as per Twitter.

Reliance Jio’s Response on the Matter

 Jio hasn’t responded to any of the claims with any proper reasons but one generic response that has been circulating says- “We regret the inconvenience caused to you. You may face intermittent problems in using internet services and making or receiving calls/SMS. This is temporary and our teams are working on the same to resolve it as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.”
