Reliance JioBook laptop launch in India expected soon – Times of India
According to a tweet by tipster Mukul Sharma, three variants of the Jio Notebook have received certification from BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) hinting at an imminent launch.
The tweet includes a screenshot of what is the claimed listing. This listing shows that the Jio laptop carries three internal model designations — NB1118QMW, NB1148QMW, and NB1112MM — on the basis of which, it is being said that the Reliance Jio laptop could come in three different variants.
No other new information has been made available about the Jio Notebook yet.

Reliance Jio laptop: What we know so far
Back in March, a report by XDA Developers had claimed that Reliance Jio’s laptop may be called the JioBook. It is said to run on custom Android OS — JioOS. The laptop is also expected to come with 4G LTE connectivity support.
The report added that the telecom company had partnered with China-based Bluebank Communication Technology to develop the laptop.
Back then, it was also said that Jio’s prototype was using Qualcomm’s 11-nm Snapdragon 665 SoC.
JioBook: Likely features
The report had also said that many iterations of the laptop have been developed so far. These include a 2GB LPDDR4X RAM with 32GB of EMMC storage and a 4GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage.
The company, as per the report, has outsourced low-cost components from different vendors. Notable ones are Samsung for their combined mobile DRAM and NAND chip and Qualcomm for its Snapdragon 665.
The upcoming laptop is said to be equipped with a display having 1366×768 pixel resolution, offer support for WiFi over 2.4 and 5GHz frequencies along with Bluetooth, a three-axis accelerometer, and a Qualcomm audio chip. It may also have a mini HDMI connector for video output.
