Reliance launches JioFiber postpaid internet connection starting at Rs 399 per month – Times of India

Reliance Jio has announced its new postpaid JioFiber plans along with 4K set top box starting a monthly subscription of Rs 399. The JioFiber postpaid plan is claimed to have no “zero upfront entry cost” and there are no security deposit or installation charges.
Reliance Jio is offering postpaid plans starting at Rs 399 per month with the option to pay annually and half-yearly. Also, it is offering a 4K Set Top Box at no extra cost. But subscribers will have to pay Rs 1,000 as a refundable security deposit. This set top box can be used playing content from OTT apps. For plans of Rs 999 and above, subscribers will get access to up to 15 paid OTT apps.
JioFiber Postpaid will be available starting June 17, 2021. Reliance Jio claims to provide symmetric internet speeds with equal upload speed and download speed.
Reliance jio haven’t mentioned any separate plans exclusively for postpaid users yet. However, JioFiber plan start from Rs 399 and goes all the way to Rs 8,499 per month.
At Rs 399, JioFiber offers 30mbps speed and unlimited data along with a landline with unlimited calling minutes. The Rs 699 plan also comes with unlimited data and landline. But it offers 100mbps speed. This plan also does not include any additional benefits like OTT subscriptions, etc.
The Rs 999 plan includes basic benefits like unlimited data and calls. It offers 150mbps speed, 14 apps and services subscription worth Rs 1,000. If you want more speed, then you can either get the Rs 1,499 or Rs 2,499 plan which offers 300mbps and 500mbps speed, respectively along with unlimited data and local/STD calling minutes to any phone number. Also, both include 15 apps and services worth Rs 1,500.
As far as 1Gbps plans are concerned. JioFiber has two plans that cost Rs 3,999 and Rs 8,499 respectively which offer 1Gbps speed. But, the major difference between these two plans are in terms of unlimited data cap which is 3300GB for the Rs 3,999 plan and 6600GB for the 8,499 plan.
