Richarlison scores another ‘special’ Brazil World Cup goal

Brazil forward Richarlison added to his spectacular bicycle kick against Serbia to net a sensational team goal against South Korea on Monday. The Selecao ran riot in the first half against their Round of 16 opponents with manager Tite getting in on the joyous celebrations.

Richarlison went into Qatar as Brazil’s starting No 9 and he repaid their faith straight away with a fantastic brace against Serbia. The tournament favourites won their first two group games before fielding a second-string side against Cameroon last week, in a game they lost 1-0.

The Tottenham man was reinstated against South Korea and it wasn’t until just before the half-hour mark that he stamped his authority on the game. With Brazil already two goals to the good thanks to Vinicius Jr’s cool finish and Neymar’s cheeky penalty, Richarlison found himself in the right place to finish off an awe-inspiring team move.

The 25-year-old started it himself with three headed keepie-ups to leave his opponent red-faced, kick-starting a rapid one-touch passing sequence that ended with him calmly slotting past Kim Seung-gyu.
