Riot Games Likely Teases an Indian Agent in Valorant; Fracture Receives Major Rework and More

The next agent from Valorant has been teased by Riot Games and it seems this time around we will be receiving an Indian Agent in the game. Valorant tweeted the Hindi phrase recently, “Jaldi Hi Milte Hai, which translates to “we will meet soon”. Due to this tweet, many fans have been speculating that we will meet the next agent soon, and as the tweet is Hindi, they feel the next one is going to be an Indian Agent.

A report by Dot Esports corroborates this theory as they have findings that also hint towards an Indian Agent. Inside the Range, the practice area in Valorant, players can enter an office where they will find an audio file related to the new agent. It seems that the latest agent will be named as Varun Batra and his codename will be set as ‘Mage’. Other details state that the character is going to be male and a controller.

In other news, Valorant Patch 5.07 has been released and it has made some major changes to one of the most recent maps in the game, Fracture. Check out all the changes made to various sites in Fracture below:

  • Arcade – Opened a cubby here to make it easier for Attacking side to hold against Defender aggression from both directions.
  • B Site – “Jump” up has been changed to a ramp directly onto the site platform, which should make moving around that space more straightforward.
  • B Generator – Space here tightened slightly to make smoking this spot easier. A small corner has also been removed to simplify attempts to re-clear the site.
  • Defender Spawn – Removed a small cubby to slightly simplify those retakes.
  • A Halls – Improved movement and simplified the space in A Halls by removing a corner.
  • A Site – A minor simplification of the space as part of the overall changes to the surrounding areas.
  • A Dish – The dish is intact but removed the far path to make moving through this space more direct for both sides. We found trying to watch/control these spaces simultaneously was unnecessarily difficult for all. The team hopes the changes here and on A Drop will encourage everyone to use this route more often.
  • A Drop – The drop down is no longer a 50/50 check when entering, which should make it a little more appealing as a way for Attackers to squeeze A site from two sides.
  • A Rope – This path has been a little too easy for Attackers to control with a single smoke. The adjustments should give Defenders more options for both the initial hold and retaking A. Watch your step.

Moreover, the Valorant Crimsonbeast Skin Bundle also arrives with this patch, so players should be ready to see fiery red weapons in the game. Additionally, Valorant has been doing really well for itself lately. According to a report by activeplayer.io, Valorant has over 500,000 live players at the moment and over 22,000,000 active players, which is a milestone for the title.
