Round Two of MSC Women’s Golf Championship Delayed Due to Weather

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The second round of the Mid-South Conference Women’s Golf Championship was delayed on Tuesday due rain/lightning in the Bowling Green area.
Play will resume on Wednesday morning with the five groups that need to finish beginning at 7:30 a.m. CT. Cumberlands (Ky.), Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) and Campbellsville are the three teams that were unable to finish the round. Following the conclusion of the round, the teams will be re-paired with the final round scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. CT at Bowling Green Country Club.
Cumberlands (Ky.) is currently shooting a 7-over par 227 in the second round for a total of 538 to lead. Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) is currently 12 shots behind the Patriots with a total of 550. The Blue Raiders are 14-over par in the second round. Campbellsville is shooting a 243 in the round and sits in third with a total of 557.
Campbellsville’s Gracie Parrot sits atop the leaderboard at 1-under par for the tournament. She is currently 2-over par in the round with four holes to play. Pikeville’s Boo Newsome is second with an even-par 144.
Cumberland (Tenn.) sits in fourth with a 649, Pikeville (Ky.) is fifth with a score of 680 and Georgetown (Ky.) is sixth with a 692.
Thomas More is in seventh place with a 725. Shawnee State (Ohio) and Bethel (Tenn.) round out the team scores with a 784 and 805, respectively.
The second round will resume at 7:30 a.m. CT with the final round of the MSC Women’s Golf Championship beginning at 9 a.m. CT at Bowling Green Country Club.
