Rumbleverse Is Shutting Down After Just Six Months
Iron Galaxy announced that Rumbleverse will shut down on February 28 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET. Season 2 will also be the last season for the game.
“This project has been a labor of love to create a new experience in a popular and highly competitive genre for games,” Iron Galaxy says in a statement. “If you’ve been a part of that journey, we thank you–whether you jumped into the first playtest after our reveal, or just shot yourself out of the cannon for the first time.”
A final update will be pushed out later today, January 31, that will close the in-game store and open the entire Rumbleverse experience to players. Every player will receive the current Battle Pass and earn double EXP. Additional accessories and emotes will be unlocked for free as well.
Players who spent money on Rumbleverse will be able to receive a refund for the amount spent on or in the game. This includes those who purchased the Rumbleverse Battle Pass or Brawlla Bills. A full FAQ page will be shared soon with information on how to process refunds.
Rumbleverse was first revealed at the Game Awards 2021 and was released back on August 18, 2022.
