Marvelous revealed today that it is working on several new games, including Rune Factory 6, Rune Factory: Project Dragon, a new Story of Seasons, and Daemon X Machina Titanic Scion.
Rune Factory 6 is currently in development and the game will take place in the western continent of Adonea. Rune Factory: Project Dragon is a spin-off set in the “Land of the East.” The latter’s setting has been referenced throughout the series but was never shown. Project Dragon is inspired by Japanese culture and will represent the East while Rune Factory 6 represents the West.

The next Story of Seasons game will explore the theme of “experiences.” Series manager Hikaru Nakano said that the future entry is one where everyone can play with each other, which could possibly hint at some sort of co-op or multiplayer aspect.
Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is a sequel to 2019’s Daemon X Machina. Producer Kenichiro Tsukuda is returning for the game. Back in 2021, Tsukuda confirmed that a follow-up to the third-person mech shooter game was in development.

Project Magia and Project Life is RPG were also revealed. The former is led by producer Takehiro Ishida and is centered around the theme of “a new frontier.” The development team partnered up with Fairy Tail illustrator and writer Hiro Mashima to design the game’s characters. The latter is a new IP directed by Ittestsu Suzuki and aims to capture the “feeling of anticipation” by showing how all the ways life resembles an RPG.
So far, Marvelous hasn’t set any release dates or windows for any of these games. In the meantime, fans can play Daemon X Machina and Rune Factory 5, both of which are on Nintendo Switch and PC.
