Ryder Cup schedule 2021: Day-by-day TV coverage to watch NBC, Golf Channel & stream online

The United States finds itself in a precarious position ahead of the 2021 Ryder Cup.

Team USA is heavily favored in this year’s matchup, held in the Whistling Straits in Wisconsin; despite being the betting favorite, however, this team, which includes six rookie Ryder Cup players, has lost seven of the last nine Ryder Cups, and nine of the last 12.

So: Recent history favors Team Europe in the COVID-19-delayed competition, but anything less than victory for Team USA — competing against some of Europe’s top Ryder Cup players in Jon Rahm, Lee Westwood and Rory McIlroy, among others — will be considered disastrous.

Not ideal, by any measure.

That said, the Americans’ next generation of golfers seem more apt to take on the Ryder Cup challenge as opposed to their predecessors. Considering the relative youth of this team compared to the Europeans’ experience, it should be an interesting three days of plays from Whistling Straits.

With that, here’s everything you need to know about the 2021 Ryder Cup from Whistling Straits:
